Here are a couple of pictures from the beautiful St. Marks' gardens! They were able to receive some money from a private donor and had Home Depot work with them for discounted prices for lumber, outdoor equipment, etc. Through their great partnership with Berry Good Farms, (located at the North Florida School of Special Education) they were able to receive organic vegetable seedlings! The school currently has two of their culinary students working in the kitchen on Thursdays, and their irrigation system was accomplished by Mr. Vic Groner, (who taught them how to do their own drip irrigation system). And yes, Captain Joe McQuade was instrumental with starting the St. Mark's garden.
