Celebrating Black Farmers Past and Present
Join BUGS (Black Urban Growers) along with many notable local and national organizations on 

                 Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

for an evening of delicious food, music and conversation to raise funds for New York City's third Black Farmers and Urban Gardeners Conference.

Photodocumentary Screening followed by Q&A Session
John Francis Ficara will present his award winning photgraphic documentary project "Black Farmers In America."
Regina Bernard - Assistant Professor of Black and Hispanic Studies at Baruch College 
 Kolu Zigbi - Program Officer for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems at the Jessie Noyes Foundation
Karen Washington - Co-Founder of La Familia Verde Garden Coalition; Named one of Ebony Magazine's 100 Influential People
