The Garden of Eden? Not here … |

Posted on September 7, 2012 by Brian Nelson in Around Town, City Hall

It’s hard to know what to make of the City of St. Augustine Beach. With a chunk of its police force recently dismissed in a political scandal, a female commissioner allegedly stalked by another city official, and a broth of other civic skirmishes, there now comes comes outright warfare over … a garden.

Could someone please retest the city’s drinking water? There’s enough drama here for a reality show.

Yes, brethren, today’s epistle is about an idyllic Garden of Eden, a local project created on A Street in St. Augustine Beach, whose creators were imbued with a desire “to produce healthy organic food, to lower our carbon footprint, promote sustainable living and to master the art of gardening through collaborative learning”.
